    all the best to you @Indhradhanu. good that you could get in happy for you.
    in our parts there are bans and freeze..

    i would suggest store it in freezer and keep small quantities out. sunflower turns rancid. i buy small batches only and also smoked ones.

    oh boy look at the sprouts. i eat them raw. nice bhel, nice sprouts pulao and many more recipes.

    enjoy the time with ds

    When you cook with out oil:
    Do you dry roast seeds?
    Do you replace oil with water?
    What methods do you use to keep food cooking without sticking to pan?

    @Penelope welcome to this thread.

    if by seeds you mean mustard and urad tempering i just do it for all the tempering for the day on a few drops of water else the tempering feels less crunchy.

    i use curd if it is something i want my kids to enjoy. else like today it is just water. depends a lot on the day and vegetables.

    i use the regular kadai. i have weaned off non stick. so i use indoleum kadai we call kolkata illupachatti. non stick is a breeze to work with.

    today was a oil free lunch day as we had loads of nuts..not just a couple. the barebequed lemon almonds are a temptation so is sunflower seeds.

    so it was lauki/bottlgourd kootu, karela sabji, pepper and jeera rasam, salads with varagu rice and buttermilk too. and a wee bit mango ginger pickle.
