Hyperprolactenemia

I know someone who had this issue. Causes can vary, but in her case it was due to a prolactinoma, a tiny benign growth on the pituitary gland that stimulates excess prolactin secretion. The prolactinoma was confirmed via MRI. Don't be spooked by the thought of a brain growth. These growths are barely a few mm across. She had to take a drug called cabergoline once a week for almost a year. After a year her symptoms were gone, and levels were back to normal. Are you seeing an endocrinologist?
