    The note is easy to miss, especially by those who read the post/thread earlier. Better to add original author's name in the title. As a courtesy to him, readers, and to be on the safer side.

    Even better to delete the thread. This is plagiarism. Adding original author's name in copied material is internet band-aid. We do not know his reaction on learning about the plagiarism. Some authors want their material removed from the infringing website, some are fine with the material remaining as long as there is proper and timely attribution, others wish to be paid for the use of their material.
