Weekends are a challenge for me too. Last weekend I had to remind myself to not sit down to long :).
Its long weekend for me. So I too am hoping I won't relax too much.

Okay the plan was a 3 mile run but my partner did not want to run after 1/2 a mile. What was supposed to be a 3 mile walk ended up being a 7 mile one. Can't complain!

I fully agree with you! Weekends are exam times, testing our will power.

    Suprabhatam from the E.C.
    Saturday Feb 17.
I knew that if I postponed my walking to the evening, something or the other will come up and I will fail.

I had to get up at 5 am for a 5:30 am Skype class. Then I had another Skype class at 8 am. So in between I just walked around the house and raked in about 2000 steps.
After breakfast I walked as we watched the winter Olympics and seeing all that energy motivated me - ended up with 6,000 steps.
Went to Costco - raked in another 2,000 steps just walking every aisle. It pays to shop at Costco!
Then it was the rest of the steps after coming home and making dinner and other jobs around the home.
I upped my goal to 11K.

Food wise - was not too bad. We bought Kerrigold butter to make the ghee. So I had to have a warm toast with the butter first. Calories up - yeah. But I also am not going to fret about it. Life is not about giving up things that we enjoy.
Just keeping to moderation is the key.
So I relished every single morsel with no guilt.

I don't know why my fitbit did not capture the other minutes I walked. Looked like something got stuck. Will observe if it does the same today.
