Yes, Viswa. It's a terrible loss for all of us who knew him personally or through his blogs. True to his word, when I visited him for the last time, he had ensured that lunch was fully vegetarian. He was not in a position to eat much as he was in severe pain. Add to that, he was not interested in eating much of the vegetarian stuff. Testimony to the fact that he treasured his friends so much.

He definitely will be in heaven, no matter what he said. Am sure if God snatched him so early, he will not send him away anywhere else.

I remember that post Soka. I still don't think he meant anything against women, he was just advocating common sense safety precautions. Anyway, that is another matter for another day.

MalStrom, I requested him to write more posts more often in IL. He said he could post, but did not have the energy to respond to every feedback. His posts certainly brightened up the snippets forum and gave everyone a good laugh.

I never knew virtual friend can even moisten your eyes. Though we never spoke or met some casual messages were always a delight. I never knew what he is going through.. Always requested him to post at least one thread in two weeks and he cheerful agreed.
Through his thread he always gave us a glimpse of his life, his house, garden, dog and mentioned about being lucky with two daughters... I am going to logoff for some days.. :coldsweat::coldsweat::coldsweat:

Yes Balajee and here was a person who did not fear death. He could speak very casually about it as if he was just going on a journey. He brought many of the senior members here to IL and IL is a lot richer for their presence here.

Very sorry to hear this Satchi. He has always been a gentleman, easy to reach out to. Also, he had no hesitation in encouraging anyone here.
Kudos to his courage and spirit and above all, his great attitude! -rgs

Yes Sabitha, those posts of his about the peacocks (videos), the dogs, the little guy who was his neighbour ..... all everyday stories, simply narrated - they were in the truest sense 'snippets of life'.
