Can you ladies please update me how to measure the 10K steps? In a smart phone preferably

Then, ladies how do you track it with a smart phone while you sit in office??

, or do you walk in between with your phone. These questions may be silly but I have no idea

Wow the energy in the thread is amazing. I tried to run this weekend. Tried being the key. Shooting pains. Will stick to walking for now. In the process had to give up my hike with a gradient. Stuck to flat trails. Hopefully next weekend. Here are my stats.

Which phone do you use? Yes you have keep your phone with you all the time if you want an accurate count. The other option is to use a smart band/smart watch which syncs to your phone. That way you don't have to walk around with your phone.

I phone has its own default health app. You don’t need to download it, and yes you will have to carry the phone with you all the time unless you have a smart watch also. In case if you have a smart watch it will be connected to your phone so you don’t need to carry your phone.

    Thanks @JustAnotherMom and @Gauri03

I am not a good runner but I can walk swiftly. I recently completed my first 5K in 44 minutues.
But I want to walk more to improve my stamina and endurance.
