    Like everything else in life, marriage takes work.

    If you put in the time, effort and understanding, it gets better every day. If you sit around waiting for your spouse to mold him/herself to your needs, it gets worse.

    10 years of marriage. Has it got better for me? No. He is getting worse and I am getting better in managing my priorities. Everything revolves around kids after these many years of marriage. In laws influence is the worse at this stage.
