I have been postponing the idea of cooking indian food in olive oil not sure of the smell or taste. I use canola oil currently. Help me by choosing a good brand of olive oil for indian food. This will be my new year resolution for a healthy start.

Trader Joe's has a nice selection of olive oil.
I use organic, cold pressed sunflower, avocado, peanut and grapeseed oils for Indian cooking, Spectrum brand. As we don't use large quantities of oil I buy the smaller bottles so they stay fresh.

stop using canola oil. I used it for a long time because of misleading marketing.
I use olive oil for salads and sometimes to tempering. Peanut oil is good for deep frying.
