    There is no doubt that Trisha is a legend. The queen of south as she is known among her fans, has completed fifteen years in the film industry and is still on top. The actress made her feature film debut in Suriya’s Mounam Pesiyadhe, which was released on December 13, 2002. Acted in more than 50 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, Trisha is a proud recipient of four Filmfare awards, five SIIMA Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Award, one Nandi Award and one Kalaimamani Award.

    Trisha is currently busy with multiple projects including Mohini, Garjanai, 1818, Hey Jude and 96. The talented actress’ immediate next release is con heist thriller ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’ with Arvind Swamy.

    ( I Dont know about calling her a Legend , but she surely stood through several scandals, her duck walk , and the lack of flexibility for dancing , all wihtout putting on too much weight).

    I too agree with you, not sure I'd call her a legend either. She has survived surprisingly long in the industry considering she's not a particularly remarkable or talented actress. But I'll give her credit for taking great care of herself and maintaining her looks all this time. As an actress, however, she has always disappointed me. She never took any risks in terms of the roles she did and even after all these years, she dubs for herself very rarely. I think she's one of those actresses who always do an okay enough job in their roles but chooses roles anyone could do pretty much. She has never surprised me or blown me away with her performances to date.

    FAV MOVIE: Manmadhan Ambu (one of those rare ones where she dubbed for herself, hallelujah!)
