Spouse, Son & I Are Off To London Via Airindia Boeing 747

My thanks. My daughter had, after over three decades had gone flying alone to join her dear husband beyond the shores of India to Boston New Jersey an yearbefore.
Hence The idea of writing & posting that incident crossed my mind.

2. In about ten hours we were to reach London Heathrow but we returned to my neighbour opposite to the quarter vacated the previous day but not surrendered yet.
3. Many of my friends with their family called upon us to enquire?!
But for my spouse, it would have been very difficult to put derailed family back on rail. She managed and streamlined everything within few days and some took less than a month.

Delighted too see your name in my alert rectangle . After a long hiatus, re- entry into this atmospheres. Last time you wrote about family taking COVID safety measures and DH home quarantined. I trust everything now OK With all members of your family in Delhi.

It is nice that you gave “like” for this story now that I re-read entire thread that gave nostalgia. It reminded me the walk on tarmac under drizzle in terrible chill weather of early morning. I may earn some more likes possibly from newer il’tes Who might glance at the title that noepw you made it prominent by your click “like”.

I must apologise to you that I had overlooked your response to this mighty huge disappointed air travel episode of my family & I.

2. My mother taught me from very childhood that every disappointment or success is temporary and so not to attach much importance to the incident nor get disheartened but proceed to next moment contemplate how to progress from there.
3. I had encountered several life threatening incidents of which I had narrated few in this forum. Hence I never felt to this day that I lost something or someone stealthily fought and got it.
4. After a couple of years the officer who went to London with family returned & for some unknown reasons he was made to work as my junior: and as a widower he struggled with his young daughter who could speak only accented English and could hardly speak a word in her mother tongue and found bit difficult to hobnob or socialise with class mates in Indian city. I felt very unhappy, as I had seen the family previously in our locality as a happy family and daughter being very bubbly and was class mate of my toddler-boy.

5. I never Felt the need to go beyond the shores of India.
6. I assume you were in chennai when u had put up that questions when u were on an assignment from US. I trust ere this you had returned to your base.
