One Year Post Delivery, Yet No Periods!

    Hi,

    My daughter is one. I delivered her vaginally. I had bleeding for about 2-3 weeks post delivery and after that I havent got my periods back. I EBF for up to 7 months. After that I resumed work and feed her whenever am at home.

    Is this Normal? Should I consult a Dr??

    As far as I know this is pretty normal. My friend got hers after one and half year only.

    Thank You Black beauty..Am quiet happy that I dont have the three day head ache for some time as long as its normal :)

    OP, It is quiet natural. If you EBF it will be delayed. It can delay even up to 1.5 years or more. In my case it was almost one year. You may consult doctor if you stop BF and period wont come back after many months. But take precautions that you dont end up in unplanned pregnancy. Some of my friends got pregnant again during this transition time.

    Thank you Ddream. For my elder one I got it back in 9 months. I wasnt concerned much, but fellow mummies in my birth group have all got them back in-spite of EBF
