Episode 98:


Khaveer was done with the weekend outing with his new set of friends.

He lied on the bed relaxed and took his phone. His new friends continued to chat in the Whatsup group as well.

Many typed in Portuguese and one or two typed in English. Khaveer copied the messages, translated it and replied them.

His chats were getting interesting with the translators. Everyone were pulling each other and Khaveer enjoyed chatting with everyone.

“Reached India…” – Rathna’s message popped up and he didn’t bother to reply.

He still remembered how she shouted the other day…He still remembered the word she used “Puppet”

He swiped away her message and continued typing.

“Hey Khaveer…..” – he received a text in a private window.

“Yes. May I know who is this?” – Khaveer typed

“Hey! Celia here! “ – Celia

“Hi! So what are you doing..” – Khaveer

“Shall we go for a coffee? I am bored…” – Celia

“But its already 9! You want to go now?” – Khaveer

“Yes…” – Celia

“Fine! Am coming!” – Khaveer

“You be ready! I will come and pick you up” – Celia.

Khaveer was too tired to even step out of his room. He didn’t want to be rude and got ready.

In few minutes, he heard his calling bell and when he opened Celia smiled at him.

Her dark black hair were flowing over her chest. She was wearing a deep wide V neck top and a mini skirt. She pouted her deep maroonish lips and gave a peek on his cheeks and whispered “come”.

In few minutes, Celia and Khaveer were sitting in her car as she drove.

"Where are we going Celia?" - Khaveer exclaimed as the car entered into a big house.


Lekha and Amar were done with all the land registration procedures. Lekha was having a good time with her parents after a long time.

Sandhya: Girls! What time tomorrow?

Jaanvi: Come on! Am excited! Rathna…where are you?

Lekha: Even am excited : )

Rathna: Was talking with mom and dad : ) Tomorrow at 10?

Sandhya: 10? I need to take mom to doc for bp check up.

Rathna: Oh!!!

Lekha: Rathna….I want all of you to come to my home first. Even Amar wants to meet you guys! Come na….

Sandhya: Fine then! We will do one thing! Morning 10 I will take mom for check up. Rathna and Jaanvi will go to Lekha’s house. After that, you all come to my house. Is that ok?

Jaanvi: Sounds good. Good that we are not meeting in malls or coffee shops. Damn boring girls..

Rathna: Good then! We will catch up in Lekha’s house tomorrow.

Sandhya: Done! I will be ready by noon. Come soon girls! I don’t want to miss anything.

Rathna: Jaanvi… how will you come?!

Jaanvi: Hubby will drop me. Will choose a common point. From there, we both will go to Lekha’s house.

Rathna: I really cant wait.

Sandhya: me too….: ) feel like jumping..

Lekha: First time we four gonna meet after we all got married.

Jaanvi: Girls! What colors you gonna wear tomorrow? ; )

Sandhya: Started now itself? No way! Tomorrow we all will wear different colors and make the get together a colourful one ; )

Rathna: That’s right! Different colors.

Jaanvi: Fine! Bye! I will start digging my wardrobe now itself.


Rathna kept the phone aside and sat in front of her laptop.

Shiva was online.

“Madam! In India?” – Shiva

“Yes scientist ; ) ! How are you?” – Rathna

“am good! So how are your classes going?! Saw few pics” – Shiva

“Damn interesting! You know what?! Am going to present a speech day after tomorrow!” - Rathna

“That’s wonderful….Keep rocking. Send me the video if possible. I wish to listen to your Chinese accent : P” – shiva

"Lol! if any of my friends come, I will ask them to record : D " - Rathna

She kept chatting with him for few more minutes and left hearing her mom calling her.


The alarm rang at 7 and Rathna jumped out of the bed happily.

Soon she took a majenta colored kurthi and a purple legging.

“Traditional?!!! Whats special today?” – Rathna’s dad smiled at her.

“Dad….fed up of wearing western clothes….” – Rathna combed her straight hair and tied it into a low pony tail.

“Finally….wore kurthi?” – Rathna’s mom sighed at her.

“He He! Yes…” – Rathna pinched her cheeks and took her handbag.


Time was 9 and Rathna pinged Jaanvi “Where are you girl?”. Jaanvi called her at once

“Just reached!!!”

Soon both met and boarded a bus to reach Lekha’s house.

“Heyyy…….Come in” – Lekha was wearing a white salwar suit and her face full of happiness.

“Come!!! How are you guys?” – Amar smiled at them

“We are fine” – Rathna and Jaanvi chorused.

“It would have been nice if Sandhya has come” – Lekha said as she gave them a glass of water.

“Yeah! Anyway we four will meet soon. Few more hours!” – Rathna

“Then we will start clicking pictures…” – Jaanvi said with excitement.

They spent few hours in Lekha’s house and Jaanvi whispered “Lekha…when will you get ready…? We need to go to Sandhya’s house.”

“We will have lunch now. Then we will start.” – Lekha smiled.

“Lunch?!!” – Rathna raised her eyebrows

“I have prepared for you guys….” – Lekha smiled

“What?!!! Oh my God…can’t escape?” – Jaanvi giggled

The three girls sat together in the dining table and Lekha served them.

“Wow!!! Looks Yummy…My favourite too” – Jaanvi said as she looked at that Aromatic vegetable pulao.

“That’s why prepared for you” – Lekha smiled.

“I have prepared your favourite desert Rathna” – Lekha smiled as she opened the lid.

“Heyyy!!! Its Rasmalai!!!” Rathna’s eyes popped.

That was altogether a wonderful lunch in Lekha’s house and soon they started to Sandhya’ house.

Sandhya was too eager to receive her friends and she literally jumped in joy seeing all her friends.

“Heyyyyyyyy” – all four hugged together and Rathna was almost in tears…

“Even I feel like crying….happy tears” – Sandhya was getting emotional.

All four at once clicked pictures and started having fun. No one disturbed them. Every family admired their bonding and gave them space to enjoy.

It was 7 and Rathna started “I need to start now…Got to pack things. Tomorrow am leaving na” – Rathna

“Even I have to start. Long travel” – Jaanvi curled her lips.

“ Done then! We will start together my slim beauty” – Rathna winked

Soon the three girls started.

All three boarded their respective buses and started travelling.

Sandhya kept swiping the pictures and smiled.

Rathna: That was a wonderful get together na….

Sandhya: Yeah! By the way girls! Reached home?

Rathna: Yes dear. Few minutes back.

Lekha: just now.

Jaanvi: Yup. Just now got in.


Everyone kept seeing the pictures, admiring and cherishing every single click.

The phone rang and the news was waiting to smash every good feeling.

She attended the phone without knowing that their dream photograph will always remain a dream and a marriage is going to break forever.



P.S : Due to personal reasons, couldn't have a fixed time to post. So the timing keeps changing. But I will try my best to post every day like now! And yeah the story is towards the Climax.
