A simple one. What am I talking about? Additional clue: This thing was recently mentioned in another thread.
Hmmm the first three clues are very easy ... but the last one? Anyway I can guess ... but adding a cryptic clue would be very hard!
Answer to puzzle #8032 The Diary of Samuel Pepys Samuel Pepys is considered one of the greatest diarist. His diary is a brilliant resource for not just the life of an upper middle class man living in London but also for the major events of the 17th century such as the English Restoration period, the Great plague, the great fire of London and the second anglo dutch war. Image 1: The second Anglo Dutch war, the Dutch raid on the Medway. Image 2: " Faryner's house" refering to the Great Fire of London, Thomas Faryner's bakery on Pudding lane is believed to be the place where the fire broke out and spread throughout the city. Image 3: Anne Frank with her sister Margot Frank. Image 4: "peeps" marshmallow candies... just a pun on Sam Pepys's name ( I remember reading somewhere that "peeps/ pips" may have been his nickname ) P.S: please accept my apologies for the delay in posting the answer, I was caught up with the festivities.
