I just saw there was a special section here for expecting mothers whose due date is in October...
I'm now 27 almost 28 weeks pregnant. Due date is October 9th...
It's becoming hard to wait!!! I had to stop working because of early contractions, any one else?

So exciting only 3 months left ! My husband and I are in awe everytime our baby manifests, which is a lot.
It's a baby girl and she moves a lot...
Other moms have very active babies? Do they have specific rythms?

I had my GTT today. I should get my results tomorrow or max Monday. Fingers crossed...

BTW, I am also carrying a very active baby boy. He gets active especially when I am hungry. eat sugary stuff or drink coffee. I have been waiting to feel this for such a long time. It is so precious :)

Both DH and I are very excited and cant wait to see him in 3 months :) We have started preparing list of stuff to buy before his grand arrival.

How were your results for the GTT? Just had mine too last week, thank god they were fine. I do like sugar a lot so it was a bit of a concern for me, I sincerely hope yours came back good too!

Congratulations on your active baby boy, yes those moves are sooo precious indeed ! My girl gets super excited when I have chai masala, and yes any kind of sweet things, also when I go to bed. Like her daddy she is up late :)

Thankfully, I passed my GTT, but looks like I am anemic. So I have been prescribed some iron supplements and advised to take more iron rich food. At least I am relieved I dont have GD. Started adding more iron rich food to my diet.

How cool about your GTT ! Congratulations !
Sorry about the anemia, it's a bother but it's easier to deal with... Food supplements can help indeed (I am bordeline always with iron intake). Also I don't know if you need but high iron food like palak or dal, seafood if you eat it, dark green vergatables, dried fruits (raisins and apricots), peas and beans... Whatever you eat that is strong in iron, it will hold better if you have vitamin C with it (lemon, orange, broccoli or strawberries...) Oh and if you drink tea or coffee, don't eat right away after as it prevents from keeping the iron,...
Like if you have chai, have your iron food at leats half an hour after... :)
    Good luck !

Thank you so much. I still suffer from nausea and vomitting, so I guess that could be a reason for the anemia. I was told pomegranate and beets is rich in iron, so including them in my diet. Planning to also include lots of sea food, as since I got pregnant, I started having aversion towards any other meat. :(

@soraj No update from you for so long. How are you doing?

I never stopped having nausea. My doc says some women have it till delivery. My mom had it till I was born, so I guess it is the genes :(

Even I get back ache, but mostly when I wash dishes or stand/walk for too long.

Some days I sleep very well, but some days I wake up at 2 or 3 am and then no sleep. I keep telling my mom just 2.5 more months and it will be a relief after having the baby. She says the real work only starts then :)
