We light two lamps ( agal vilakku) ,pouring ghee inour pooja room. one for Graga Dosha ( though i am a staunch believer of God's power only),the gragas play a role in our lives according to our own karma.the prayer is naturally for the family first, then for the entire humanity to get protected from the bad effects of gragas.
