Apply odomus cream (mosquito repellent ) on her hands and foot and exposed parts to protect her from mosquito bites. It's apparently safe for babies too.. Read last sentence in safety

Also try to cover the baby with full pants, socks, mittens as much as possible. Hopefully, its not as hot now with rains coming in. Also, ask your parents / in laws to spray the house with mosquito sprays before you visit (maybe baygon spray, if still available, I remember my parents using it in our childhood).

1. Safety Net
2. Fully covered clothes - socks, gloves, hands - leave nothing exposed apart from face
3. Mosquito repellents - try to avoid as much as possible though.

Get a safety net - thats the BEST method to protect your baby from mosquitoes. It works 100% . It works when you are home and the baby is sleeping \ lying down. When you are travelling or you can use Odomos. But Odomos or any other mosquito repellent is not 100 % protective as its effect will fade away after 2 hours. Plus your babys skin is sensitive - never know when the baby can develop an allergy or rash.

Its foldable hence easier to carry.

PLEASE DO NOT USE good knight plug in or mosquito coils as the fumes are extremely harmful , for babies AND adults. This is a tried and tested scientifically proven fact that plug in and coils contain very harmful fumes. Breathing in these fumes are harmful for your lungs.

Have a safe trip.

 

Few suggestions:

Full clothes isn't fool proof. Their clothes are so soft that mosquitoes can poke through it until unless she is wearing layers or jackets.

Mosquito bat - it's helpful

Baby carry bed - we usually use this while handing over the babies to the relatives/ friends. Keeps the baby safe from any jewellery, nails, clothings pointy / rough edges. N even kids or people who doesn't know how to hold a baby can also hold safely this way without hurting the baby.
- Mosquito bed net - These are the variations with nets.

Mosquito patch - check for age. It's a disposable sticker that we stick on kids clothes n it keeps the mosquito away. You can stick on the clothes or the carry bed.

Mosquito spray - there are some baby safe / herbal sprays. You can spray this on the outside of the baby bed / clothes to keep em away.

Mosquito cream - check for age again - if she puts her hand or foot in her mouth, this is a bad idea

Check the age clearly for the patch, spray, cream and go for baby safe / herbal / natural stuff.

There is also some leaves that you can put around the house and the room and it keeps the mosquito away. Not sure about the name, maybe any moms who knows can help.

Foldable mosquito nets that can be used on any bed.

Lemon grass or citronella oil a few drops in water and left in the room. Even if you can Light a lamp with neem oil +lemon gras/citronella. Both are easily available.

And yes carry a battery operated mosquito may if it give you peace of mind. They are smaller lighter and do not make fire cracker like noise disturbing your baby
