I used to like reading Richmal Crompton's Williams' series

Btw, I would like to know what do you do with books you no longer require

Same here.. Enid Blyton' s "The secret seven", "Famous Five" and Sidney Sheldon. Miss those days. Hardly find time to read novels these days.

Shan, you can sell them or donate those books to local libraries. If you wish to give away children's book then NGOs fighting child illiteracy will accept them.
    Hope this link helps ...donate-a-book

Thanks @PriyaSrini. Donate-a-book is an interesting site. They seem to be be more of raising funds than accepting books.

I tried the local library option - Eswari Library. They don't seem too enthused about. As of now, I have been giving it to our staff's kids. Am not too sure they are equipped enough to handle it. Thanks to you I have come to know of Pratham's wonderful platform

When I was a child, I liked to read fairy-tales, of course. Cinderella was my favorite. I was dreaming of if I was the main hero of this fairy-tale and wished to become like her. :treadmill:
