I used an app called pedometer earlier.
It used to under measure my steps everyday.
I feel these apps are not that accurate.
And an error of 10-15% happens.

I'm using an app called pacer. Which one are you using now and how accurate is it?

Sorry for intruding in to your thread :hmmm:
Do you continue your walk/play badminton/whatever exercise you do even in your periods?

I understand it depends on our stamina and comfort levels but just want to know does any one advise against it?

    No
    I won't advise against it.
I don't see any medical reason as to y we should not walk/exercise.
The only thing that should stop us is a back ache

Yes, you can play/walk/and exercise during this time. In fact one should exercise, unless there is a medical reason for the discomfort. Consult your doctor if there are medical issues.
My mother always encouraged me to play matches during my teens. I was an avid sportsperson and also had a a lot of walking to do in terms of commute. Being active during this time actually helps in many ways.
