    Strongly disagree with you, in that traveling to India would heal past scars

    Such an India trip will add more pain to your healing wounds and your partly healed wounds would be freshened up.

    Every thing you see in India visit, would start the flashback of the sob story, the way we see in cinemas.

    I am surprised why 'REVERSE /INCORRECT LOGIC' crops up in your mind !!

    At first I was thinking the way you are explaining.

    Plus all the bad and worse things happening to women in India.

    Yes, safety is first priority... I may get two travel buddies from the looks of it.


    We need to take back our once beautiful culture (think Vedic times with Lord Ram, Lord Krishna)

    I'm unfamiliar with cinemas but in real life I see that first step to taking what is rightful yours is to face your fears, sadness, and struggles head-on to get closure and move on.

    Crying and flashbacks are part of healing process.

    You must learn to enjoy life without expecting things from others.

    This is the real-life happily ever after.

    I registered to this site because of your post. Im on the same mission for next year (target around feb 10-24).
    Also for the same reason. For closure of love lost. However, my mission will be in the North - Rajasthan to Amritsar (for the Golden Temple).
    I will watch this thread for people's response and hope to find a reputable travel group/agency. Thank you so much!

    Did you know it was built in 1500s by Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims.

    Only in 1800s gold was added.

    Really want to go there. My friend told me not to go alone - have to be in a group. I told him~ if I wait for everyone to be ready, I might be waiting for the rest of my life. hah! (im not the most patient person, so waiting for years for this to happen is a torture)
