Is there any difference in Puja in the evening than in the daytime? Does the time matter?

Best time for morning puja is early morning hours called Brahm-muhurat which ideally begins 1.5 hours before sunrise.
Best time for evening pooja is for 48 minutes i.e. From the time when sun sets till 48 minutes.

@seekingheart doing your puja in rhe morning gives you positive energy to tackle the whole day. It need not be elaborate -just lighting the deepam, saying sloka and offering a prasad like fruit, sugar candy or dry fruits is enough.
You light the deep in the evening too
If you want to do elaborate do it in the evening.
And poojas like pournami or poornima are done in the evening
