    What do u both take as lunch? As breakfast? Same as kids or separate?

    see if my suggestions would work out for u .

    Make vegetable dry sabji all kinds , carrot , cabbage , bindi , cauliflower, beetroot ,tinday , spinach( thz will be lil gravy type).
    Make some wheat dough and thin chapathis , u can have above stuffed vegetable roles , for brkfast , and also snacks .
    Tiffin box , u can make different dry powders of bisibelaybath , puliyora, vangibath ,veg bath mix etc. just cook rice and give tadka with the above powder rice and ur tiffin box is ready with any of the above sabji ,chapathi and a salad ( above vegetables while u cut keep lil aside for the salad)
    Anyhow u cook rice for curdrice.
    Dinner soak dal when u cut the vegetables for the rolls , evenging u can make dal for the above sabji roti and rice if u people have rice for dinner.

    If u feel it might help u , i shall write in detail for u ,

    The above method will cut down ur cooking time and also will save some time for cooking dinner . I hope the tip will help u in someway !

    Hi all
    How was it weekend
    Mine was like this
    6.45 - wake-up, brush
    7- made break fast ragi semiya. Was too hungry. So had breakfast and gave to dh too
    7.45 - handwashed 4 sets of chudis.
    8.30- took bath, got ready for work
    9- got veggies from local Sunday market
    9.30 to 1.30 - at work
    1.30-2.30- made lunch, had it
    3-5.30 - slept well :cool:
    6- made coffee, got clothes back
    6.30- 8 put grinder, made apple milkshake for dh, boiled milk and stored, cleaned out fridge, restocked all veggies, plucked greens.
    8-9 re heated lunch and had it
    9-10 relax.

    @coffeecups , u r an inspiration girl. Was bit lazy to update , but seeing urs thought let me try

    Sunday

    6.45 woke up, brush, bath (since kids and DH going to sabarimalai early bath, otherwise saturdays and sundays i laze around)
    7 to 8 - Wash pooja vessels, light dhiya, my prayers, Milk, tea
    8 to 11 - Kids got up, their routine, studies, drying clothes, folding clothes, sweeping and mopping.
    11 to 11.30 - break time for me.
    11.30 1.00 vegetable chopping, lunch preparation for kids, fruits for DH and me, washing vessels
    1.30 to 4.30 - nothing much, small small works, engaging kids with some activities
    4.30 to 5.30 - Evening tea, cooking dinner
    5.30 to 7.30 - DH went to temples, me and kids to park, my walk and catching up with friends
    7.30 to 9.30 - Back at home, freshen up, pooja, dinner, vessels washing , winding up kitchen.
    After 9.30 kids and DH went to sleep, i was checking for kids balance home work if any , my reading, TV, browsing

    Being fasting this routine. Otherwise we go out

    Back here after a long time....

    Mrng woke up at 5.15
    Made Moong Dhal and Palak sabji
    BF for DH and DD - Plain Parathas
    For me - Ragi Dosa with yesterdays mushroom thika masala
    Lunch - Roti for DH
    Brown Rice for me
    Was little late today, reached office 10 min late
    But then manged it somehow
