    Hi,
I am sharing a wonderful tip for cleaning silver items. You only need some readily available ingredients.
    Ingredients:
    Aluminum foil, baking soda
    Steps:
    1) Boil water in a vessel or pot. Fill water upto the level needed for completely immersing the silver items to be washed.
    2) Once water is well boiled, switch off the stove. Cut aluminium foil into 3 or 4 bits (about the size of your palm) and put them in the hot water.
    3) After 2 mins, put some 2 spoons of baking soda into the water.
    4) wait for 2 mins and then put the silver items inside the water.
    5) Keep this for some 10 mins. Then remove the silver items and wash using any dish liquid.
Its better than using pitambari and will shine like new.
