    The Bairav in Pasupathinath temple which I was mentioning is kala Bairav - huge one about 10 or 12 feet i think, garlanded with skulls. Somehow, i wasn't intimidated by that statute rather i liked it the most. As photography is prohibited, I couldn't post here. On the contrary, the Kala Bairav in Kasi shethra is small in size but powerful!

    Regarding Vatuka Bhairava............there are tantric texts discussing it.......see link below,

    Shri Bhairava Deva

    Vatuka bhairava does not come in the usual 8 bhairava forms found in temples.........following are the ashta bhairavas that are usually quoted,

    Ajitanga Bhairavar, Ruru Bhairavar, Chanda Bhairavar, Krodha Bhairavar, Beeshana Bhairavar, Kapala Bhairavar, Unmatta Bhairavar and Kala Bhiravar

    Many temples like the one below or seergazhi temple near chidambaram have 8 bhairava forms,

    1) Sri Kaamanatheeswarar / Kala Bairavar Temple near Aragalur, Tamil Nadu have these 8 bhairava forms..... click and scroll down links below.........
