    I feel a void in my heart…
    the empty space reminds me of you.
    Of the days when you adorned the place….
    of the times which I embraced.
    Now the air around is so sober.
    I stare at the walls, lost in thoughts…
    scrolling through my memory,
    filled with beautiful shots.
    Time seems to have passed so fast.
    Wonder how it began, but this feeling
    for an eternity would last.
    I peek into my soul and see….
    you have etched a place inside of me.
    Coating my heart with warmth and love,
    wrapped in respect and sealed.
    I am both happy and sad…
    knowing you has made me glad…
    saying goodbye now drives me mad…

    I feel a void in my heart…
    the empty space reminds me of you…
    if only you knew.

    Very lovely poem.
    'Etched in heart' , good lines all along.
    I don't know whether you have a real good imagination but all your poems are along same lines. But still so good. The greatest aspect of any relationship is good communication. If so there is definitely a way the person would have known it. 'If only you knew', generally speaking that definitely needs clear communication. I know it is a poem, just was thinking along these lines. People cannot assume things in a relationship. Your poems are romantic and thought provoking too.
