Low Foetal Heart Rate 110 Bpm At 7 Weeks

Hi ladies,

I'm 9 weeks now and on bed rest. During 7th week I had spotted a few drops of blood and immediately rushed to my doctor. They did pelvic scan and told that foetal heart beat is low I.e. 110 bpm but it should be 120 bpm min at 7 weeks. They advised atleast a month of bed rest and also said that 75% chances of things going fine. I'm also given an injection every week but no scan till now. I'm very worried if the heart rate would improve. I also can't take leave for more than 20 days. On top of all this, I hate being at home all time. Has anyone experienced something like this? Please share.

P.s: I have pcos, but conceived naturally.

I very badly want my baby to be fine and can't handle myself if something goes wrong.

Please stay calm and take rest as advised by doctor. Don't worry everything will be fine. Pray and stay happy. The little heart has just started beating. LO will catch up don't worry

Hey seekout,
They said more than 50% chance naa..
So just trust them..
N this is the time for u to relax..
Dont think of going to work n strain urself..
Read books or gether baby stuff on internet ,eat well or do anything u like..
Just relax..first trimester is the time to ..
Everything will b fine..

Spotting is normal in pregnancy if it is not accompanied by heavy cramps and it was just few drops not heavy bleeding. Its normal dont worry.Your baby is fine.

Hello !

Congratulations on ur pregnancy.
The normal heart rate at 6-7 weeks is anywhere between 90-110 bpm.
And around 8 weeks 110- 175 bpm.
Spotting is normal in early pregnancy unless it's not heavy and stops and is not with cramps.
I think the doctor should scan u as it's already 2 weeks since the last scan.
U shall b also at peace.
Don't worry , everything looks ok..
speak to ur doctor for a repeat scan .. which I think she should have advised.

Finally all is fine in this week's scan. I'm very happy and doctor has allowed me to go to office too.
