    nithya,

I am applying onion juice and curd alternatively. And about castor oil I afraid of that greasiness.

I stopped using shampoo and shikkakai for various reasons. so don't know how to wash off the greasiness after applying castor oil.

You should try some hair products from L'occitane. The ingredients and essential oils really helped me prevent hairfall and manageable hair. You should see if it works out for you too!
    Good Luck

What works for my extreme dry hair is warm olive oil before 1 hour of hair wash and I apply Aloe vera gel(I use Patanjali) on wet hair after wash. It makes my hair manageable.

Also make sure you use a mild/gentle shampoo and also watch on the quantity of shampoo you use for the hair. Hair becomes too dry if you use excess shampoo too.

    Hi @Sijo157 ,

Recently I had an issue with dandruff and very rough / dry hair.
I did some research for this and found that shampoos by Neutrogena are really good.
I am using the the one for basic everyday use - this is shampoo+ conditioner. I wash my hair thrice a week.
This shampoo is really helping me and my hair is so soft and without dandruff.
    give it a shot.

Massage your scalp with luke warm coconut oil-removes the dryness and helps the roots
Then apply the juice of lime -removes dandruff
    Stay for 45 minutes.
Wash off with a good shampoo.

Repeat it every alternate day for the best results.

    Drink lot of water.

Take becosules Z- 1 capsule every night for the next 30 days.

Condition with olive oil. Put the moisture back into dry hair by warming up 1/2 cup olive oil (do not boil it), and then rubbing it into your hair. Cover tresses with a plastic bag, then wrap everything in a towel. Let this home remedy do its thing for 45 minutes, then shampoo and completely rinse.
