What Does Your "daily Life" Look Like??

This is my routine:

05.30 am - Both me and DH wake up and start preparing lunch boxes, coffee and milk
06.00 am - DD wakes up and she almost gets ready on her own.
07.00 am - DD boards the bus and me and DH leave together to office since its in the same area
07.30 to 03.30 pm - office
03.30 to 04.00 - drive back to home
04.00 to 05.30 pm - snacks for DD, me relaxing, getting DD ready for playing outside
05.30 to 06.30 pm - Yoga
06.30 to 07.00 pm - relaxing
07.00 to 08.00 pm - walking
08.00 to 09.00 pm - office calls/ work
09.00 to 10.00 - dinner, spending time with DH and DD, some TV and hitting the sack at 10.00 pm

My maid/cook will come in the mornings and sweep, mop, wash vessels, clean kitchen and does dusting.
Evenings she will come and chop veggies and make dinner.

 

I am SAHM and my routine looks like:
get up at 7:00
7:00 to 8:15 brushing, prepare tea/milk, make my dd1 ready for school, and loading the dishwasher.
8:15 to 9:00 i have my tea,feed dd2 milk, prepare breakfast.
9:00 to 10:00 give breakfast to DH, prepare lunch (1 veg, daal, rice, chapati) and pack lunch box for dH.
10:00 11:00 i have bf and watch tv or internet.
11:00 2:30 clean kitchen, give bath to dd2, get ready myself, feed my dd2, load washing machine, ironing/folding of clothes,playing with dd2,internet/book reading,studying(if my dd2 allow), tidying up room again n again as my dd1 keeps on throwing toys here n there.
2:30 to 3:30 make dd2 ready and i myself get ready for bringing my dd1 from school, its around 15 mins walk one side. We normally come back by 3:30 to 3:45.
3:45 to 5:00 both dd1 and dd2 are excited, they play and fight with each other. it becomes a herculean task to get my dd1 change her school clothes . then i feed dd1 lunch , dd2 also eats with her. My dd1 likes me to feed her food with my hands after school.
5:00 to 6:00, i use to have evening tea, if my hubby is at home then i chit chat with him with tea, or i play on mobile or make a call to my loved ones. in between i have to become referee in my daughter's fight.Give my DDs milk
6:00 to 9:00 helping dd1 in studies, cooking and serving and eating dinner, cleaning kitchen, making dd1 brush her teeth, comb her hair, change her into night clothes. and changing clothes of dd2 and mine too.
Normally by 9:00 or 9:30 either me or my DH reads with my daughters and make them sleep. after that we watch some tv. normally sleep at 11:00.
After making our kids sleep, on friday night me n my husband watch movies till late night while cuddling in a quilt. on weekend after getting up we all 4(me, my DH and dd1 and dd2) sit in quilt on our bed, and we do lots of masti/talk with each other. I love these activities most. we go for outing on weekends. in summers we go for picnics frequently, packing lots of food. We all goto library sometimes, spend there reading and selecting books for each of us. Sometimes we all sit in bed together, reading books, sometimes we all play aankh micholli . ooohhh...I am enjoying my SAHM time with my family a lot. Me n my husband both are introvert kind of person, so having less numbers of friends in a foreign land doesnt affect us much. but still i miss my home as home is sweet home.

 

Why did we have to grow up and become mothers?? I miss having bed coffee. I don't want to wake up at 6am and cook for everyone.

 

fix at least a day in week when your hubby has to prepare morning coffee....

 

On a serious note- my day goes almost like clock work- I like the fact I have a schedule and I prefer to stick to it.

6 am- first feed DS.
6:30 - get DS accommodate with toys in the crib and start exercise.
6:30- 8:30- Exercise in between do quick breakfast fro DS, DH pour coffee for myself n DH.
8:30-9:00- pack DH lunch. Feed DS
9:00- cook my breakfast and DS lunch.
9:00-11:00- My time, prep for my lunch
11:00- 1:00 DS wakes up, A walk with DS, playtime.
12:30 to 1:00- Lunch time for DS
1.00- nap time for DS.
1:00-3:00- Breather for me, with some mild chore and finish up with dinner
3:00- 5:00- another set of playtime with DS, water the plants/ study
5:30-6:00 Dinner for DS.
6:00- 7- bathtime and DS sleeps.
7:00 my DH comes home- talk for awhile and watch some tv
8:00- dinner and dishwasher
10:00- In bed. I like to play video games. I will play int he bed sometimes DH works.
Maximum fall asleep by 12.

 

Aww yes sometime my DH gets me bed coffee.. just mommy brains is always fired up and working. I just cant or have not relaxed and enjoyed the bed coffee.
