Cutwork In Tussar Sarees Using Agarbati

    Hi:grinning: Friends,
    Recently i visited a saree exhibiton. There i saw a saree designed with small squares in cut work . they are from kolkata and tussar sarees. they told that the cutwork is done with machine embroidery and the holes are made with burnt agarbatis, to be done carefully otherwise will spoil the saree. the work was very good . Does anyone has the idea about this??? please share the tutorial . thank u

    Hi,
    you can check the link given below for cutwork. This one is done with aari and not machine embroidery. Mosquito coil is used to burn the cloth after stitching the area with zari thread that needs to be cut .
