Dev picked up in the first ring as he was tensed and waiting for her call.

Dev. Relax nothing to worry. He is just trying to play nice with me. I know you will be worried thats why I called you. Please relax and dont wait for me. I will be safe.

Aman was still busy in his call. He signalled Meg to wait for sometime. Dev dialled the private number and was impatient for the other person to pick up the call.

The line was cut on both the calls. Aman came back and began again. They both were seated in the sofa facing each other in Aman's cabin.

As you know dean, my parents live in Kolkata and I stay here in an apartment which is rented.

No. This is my first time here after my graduation. That too it is related for job.

My parents have always been with me ever since I was adopted by them.

He managed with a smile and dropped her inher house. Then he made few calls to the private number and stood tensed. When he turned back he found Meghna standing behind him. He was shocked thinking that she might have heard him speak to that number.
