You might have seen the world map in your school Atlas. America is in the top left corner , Japan will be in the top right corner and India will be in the middle ( somewhat at a lower level. Imagine two aeroplanes start , one from California in US , and the other from Delhi , India , both heading to Japan. They both start AT THE SAME TIME and fly at the SAME SPEED uniformly . Which will reach JAPAN FIRST. ?
It is not connected to Time Zone. Imagine the two planes are flying in a race. Which plane will take less time to reach Tokyo ?
What you have written is what we normally conclude. But The earth is almost a sphere . O.K.? To describe it on a paper , they had to cut vertically along an imaginary line and spread it on a paper in a rectangular form. (imagine ) . It is in the Atlas. The imaginary line lies between America and Japan . Hence , Japan is very near to America , and compared to this India is far , far away from Japan . Hence the flight from US will reach Japan first . Am I clear ?
