@AnjanaSawant- thanks for the compliment. I have to say that everyone's body is different. Everyone will have their own recovery process. There are couple of factors which played to my advantage of being back in shape--
1. I did use a girdle during my postpartum
2.I was a low carb and high protein diet (without non- veg).
3.I had low breast milk flow. Around 6 months of postpartum, I had no BM flow.
4.I exercised starting from the 3rd month of postpartum.
5. I did daily walks after 6 weeks of delivery.

Please talk to your OB about pregnancy weight loss. I also highly encourage breastfeeding- as it has lot of benefits for woman's body like less chance of getting breast cancer, uterus shrinks more when breastfed

I am due in December and I want to secure my child’s future. My doctor has suggested me to save my child’s umbilical cord blood. I want to know about the process of registration, how the umbilical cord blood is saved and how is it beneficial?

@SeemaVirani-I suggest you talk to your OB.I remember seeing a thread on cord blood collection on IL.. however, I am not able to find it. I will tag @Avanti30 @Bubbles in the hope they might know the thread I am talking about.
