Food Menu During Pregnancy

    Congrats to all expectant mom's. I am in 20th week of pregnancy.

    1.My doctor advised to take milk products thrice a day.
    2.2 servings of fruits and vegetables.
    3.One dhal everyday.
    4.And no restrictions for any of the indian food.
    5. Going for walk 30 min (post breakfast, lunch and dinner).

    Have good time . Enjoy this beautiful period.

    include a beet root salad daily and also 2 bananas a day wit 2 glasses of milk. dont force yourself. Just, try to include this in your diet

    Hello..My sister is 9 weeks pregnant and she happened to have 2 cups of kheer from a restaurant in USA.Is it safe to consume milk products in indian restaurants during this stage?Considering the milk might be unpasteurized!Kindly provide your thoughts.

    Since she has taken it, nothing can be done now. May be next time she can watch out for outside foods. Once in a while these are OK. Don't worry.

    Hi! My friend is 7 months pregnant and her doctor adviced her to eat food rich in zinc cuz the lack of it could have negative impact on pregnancy. For example raspberries, blackcurrant, saltwater fish, chicken, milk, eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, cereals, garlic, nuts, green tea and so on.

    Have lots of fruits and veggies..Especially greens.Include dry fruits and diary too..And last but not least water!!Drink at least eight glasses a day

    I am in USA currently . My doctor on 1st visit advised not to intake Subway or Jimmy John Sandwiches due to some possible bacteria in the meat. just wanted to share the same.

    I think its OK to have them. They are rich in nutrients. Eat anything in moderation. Don't over do.
