Oh it took me a while to understand your Freedomination post.

As, Lakshmi mam said things will be smooth if we give little FREE space for ourselves & to people around us.

I second with Viswa Sir: we never think what we really want to be, instead we chose to do things dictated by others .We lose FREEDOM the very moment we wear the mask to get into The Act. It's up to us to take control of things & be FREE the way we want it to be or be DOMinated by others.
We alone are responsible for our actions.

Interesting & confusing write up.

Be happy that @parineetha didn't do Tracheotomy on u!!!

PS: your next Snippet must be on a lighter note like "What A Husband Wants....."

Restraints or self-made and not created by others. Mostly, the choke-hold is not how we are treated by others but how we feel about it, how we yield with self sympathy and how we promote it through gossip with those who would relate to such emotions.

Free will is using our discrimination to comply with righteousness, love without any condition, practice non-violence and achieve peace internally. Standing up for ourselves and for others is part of such free will.

Pride that respects the life-force inside of us is positive whereas the pride that makes us think the body, mind and intellect ("BMI") is the achiever and seeks praise and publicity is negative. Getting rid of the instincts and not through conscious avoidance but through practice and experience is the key.

Knowing no one can dominate us without our consent and willingness and we should never dominate anyone as part of our righteous principle is the actual freedom. Freedom is not something that is awarded but felt inside and liberation is not achieved from others but from our own bad qualities.

True viswa - in an ideal situation when the parties involved are equally knowledgeable, smart enough to draw the line, all goes well. Only when either of the parties are not aware and are soft enough to resist oppression, the issue crops up.

What free-dom? What free-will? What suffocation? I am just picturing this - as if someone sitting behind bars and reading Sathiya-Sothanai where in a little light peeps in through the window - you expect doors to open and then movie title comes - GG - da ....

Not sure whether I had caught the essence of your thread, but I will give some perspectives.

We can't put all the relationships under one umbrella. Yes they are relationships, but the degree of dependency or restraints would vary as well. Independence is kind of a relative terminology.

For example we can't compare one on one with some of the relationships. Familial relationship itself we can't compare, because we have close first degree, next second degree, then third degree and so forth. We or atleast most of us, would have strong bonding with our first degree relatives, even among then we tend to focus on own personal family and kids. Here we maintain a much more stronger feelings and emotional attachment with that first circle. We are bound not by restraints here, but by love and affection. If we start to think that as restraints then we would miss a whole lot on what a family gives us, the love, and mutual trust and understanding. In this circumstance we try to maintain a lesser invidualism, not that we forego everything, but basically it comes out of love and understanding. Never can we say just because a spouse/partner is letting go of some of his characteristics for the sake of maintaining familial stability he is losing his individuality or that he is bound by restraints. I would rather think that they as a couple are having a mutual understanding and that helps to maintain and enjoy that relationship.

When it comes the the second, third and so forth relatives, of course, it depends on how close that person is for that relationship. So here mostly they try to have some kind of restraints or should say want to maintain their individualism.

Well, coming to work place, yes, we try to maintain individualism and try to some extent expect to have our own space and freedom. But in any work place, it is definitely going to be a team role management. In that team we are able to express our self, our views etc, but you still have to give respect to the team decision as a whole. I am unsure whether we could ever be able to do things with our individualism totally or thinking without restraints or being total freedom. We need to understand the necessity of cooperation and for the benefit of the workplace as a whole.

Well, coming to virtual relationships, I would feel it is some what difficult to comprehend at all. Most of us don't know how we even look, let alone their personal characteristics etc. We decide on such relationships basically on how they write. But that doesn't mean anything. Let me give example, lots of good writers are here, including you and Viswa Sir and so forth and are able to eloquently put forth your views and people would be able appreciate it and understand your perspectives mostly easily. So it kind of gives a person, some more good picture of that person/personalities. Whereas there are some who are not able to portray with such a style. But in no way shows much about that person's characteristics, because of the lack of skill. So in this circumstance the virtual relationship, has very large boundaries and very difficult to compare it with other one on one facial/personal relationships. Of course we can talk about individualism here, yes , and that is the reason we are all able to discuss topics here. But still we need some kind of restraints in the form of forum ethics, sometimes personal restraints come into play, where we ourself tend not hurt others by direct answers. So there is some restraints inspite of individualism.

So with regards to relationships, individualism and restraints are basically bound by many factors, let alone the other factors which I have not discussed thinking about both sides etc.

Your choice of words actually are good, but I wasn't comprehending everything here. So I had just put forth what I think.

There is no right or wrong solution and it is by no means a comparison between relationships. Each one is different and unique in it's own right.

intentionally or unintentionally we trespass, this was just to bring that to notice and help one not to do so.

am not that eloquent as i may sound, i just confuse the reader to believe so

I read/ mostly browsed some of these topics, maybe the term 'Interdependent' would give us more satisfaction in a relationship.

As far as any relationship goes, you need love and affection. Listen to this song called 'Photograph' by Ed Sheeran, you would sure like it. That is what makes all of us going on in this life, with all its hurdles along the way.

Just used the popular book title and has no connection what so ever to the Independence struggle of India but in a way related to the independence of individuals.

Relationships between spouse, relatives, friends, colleagues and these days to a larger extent on virtual fanfare all boil down to the limits, each one has set or expects to uphold the freedom that allows breathing easy, moving easy and not suffocating with the excesses that come as a freebie with each relationship.

Why at Hindsight this springs up as a showstopper to the interactions? Or may lead to severing ties? Or regulate to relate? Because only when you are subjected to the thought evolves.

Some are prone to being subjected to more often than others. Is that because they are giving room or is that the nature of the other person to take control?

Free from Domination is it Free-Dom for one who is subjected to? Or is it Free Domination of the one who exercises control? Funny word it seems and not very funny though when you experience it.

An afterthought again that comes to mind is Free-Will. Is it that you want to be Free on Willingness is Free-Will? Or is it the Free Willingness of that individual to suffocate the other?

Spouses Out of Love, Friends Out of Friendship, Relatives Out of Relationship, Colleagues Out of Colleague-ship, Superiors Out of Superiority tend to Possess each other or Control each other forgetting that there is an Out between the connecting words that actually mean the relationship will be Out and gone Out of the window to wilderness, before even you would actually realize that.

Independence of Individuals is all the more important than existence without that. Now that we have got over the physical, face to face relationships since the last decade, clinging on to the virtual relationships, have to be very careful in not losing that too. What do we find respite next in the short term? What about the long term?

Have no answers for that felt above but happy that a realization has come up to act up on. Would help in not being controlled and help in not to take control of one’s Free-Dom by Free-Will – Independence of Individuals upheld for a healthy life ahead by holding on to the relationship, a few that really seem to exist to validate our existence.

Not sure that I followed you clearly. One's freedom or freewill or whatever to take control of another person's freedom or freewill or whatever appears to be a problem -- a problem that goes against the very spirit of freedom etc. Is this what you are saying? If so, it seems to be an important observation. What is the definition of freedom? Should you define it without imposing constraints on the domain of definition? If you don't, it could lead you to situations that run counter to the very concept of freedom. Absolute vs. Relative Freedom? As I said, I haven't followed you clearly.
