Ciprofaxicin In 5th Month

    I am in to my 5th month on Thursday. I am having urinary infection with Ecoli since my 3rd month. Doc asked me to use Ciplox (Ciprofaxicin) 500 mg two days a day. I heard anti-biotics are not good in pregnancy. Is it safe? Can I use?

    No. Ask your doctor for another anti biotic.You 've to get your u t i cured with the antibiotic which is pregnancy safe.if you don t take antibiotic safe now you ll 've problems later cos of untreated u t I

    That was ratified by my Gynaec as well as Infertility specialist.. So I am in two minds

    Not every antibiotics are unsafe during pregnancy. There are few tablets prescribed during pregnancy too. I'm not good with that tablet, double check and use it.
    Drink lot of water or fluids. That might help you to flush the uti from tour body. Take care.

    It is really very important to rectify the UTI during pregnancy the reason being, it might cause infection and might disturb the baby's growth as well. Sometimes it causes serious problems to you and your baby. So please be very cautious and drink plenty of water and tender coconut.
