    Dear Jothi,

Yes, you can substitute any fish. Like pomfret, king fish( surmai), etc. will be good.
If it is fleshy fish like surmai/neymeen you can make it just like that without frying the fish , too.
The fish gets fried because it'll easily crumble otherwise. Instead of lime juice you can use tomatoes and lime juice combination also. The taste will be a little different if you do not fry the fish. See which one you like .

Thanks for the FB. Keep writing.

Re:Non-Veg recipes - Chicken butter masala

    Hi Eljaype,

I want to how to make Chicken butter masala? Especially with that tangy orange color.

I have tried Paneer butter masala. Can the same version be tried with Chicken?

    Thanks,
    Nila

    Dear Nila,

I don't think there is much difference in the gravy of paneer butter masala and butter chicken. You can add a few drops of orange red colour to the gravy , if you like.
You can fry chicken pieces in the marinate of ginger garlic patse, red chilli powder, coriander powder and a little colour with a little curd/ lime juice/ vinegar and make a paste.
Marinate the chicken pieces in it for atleast an hour like you do for chicken 65 . Deep fry and then add it to the gravy. Cook till the chicken gets cooked.
Other part of the gravy is the same. Try it out . I had it at a friends place once and it tasted really nice.
    Always send in your FB's
    Love
