    I went through ur weight loss success story u r a true motivation...
    I am new here plz guide me also in losing weight... here is my workout plan
    30 min. brisk walking
    10 min. abdominal ex.
    20 lunges
    20 min. yoga


    diet
    BF: 1 cup tea wid poha/sandwich wid egg..
    mid mrng: green tea wid lemon and honey/ a fruit
    lunch : 2 rotis, dal ,sabzi . 1 katori curd
    evening: green tea wid 2 marie buiscuits
    dinner: i am having dalia these days..
    i can have dalia in dinner na?????
    walking after meals for how many min....????
    suggest the changes

    i have a treadmill at my home and a stationary bike also

    What a beautifulllllll story indeed !! Loved it and i love YOU shiva !! :) Hats off to you. Stumbled across your blog, and been reading it since last two days. Going to try some of your recipes.

    But but but can you tell me how to deal with a loving husband who frowns and gets angry and sad if i dont eat the fried and sweet stuff he gets from outside all the time? His all time favourite line, " i got for you in this rain/heat/busy schedule/etc so that we will eat together, and u r saying no ?"

    Shiva, can you help me here ?

    Thanks for liking my blog and such a beautiful comment.

    Awww that is so sweet. You are a very lucky girl.

    Unfortunately, its a real struggle to eat healthy if our loved ones wants to enjoy junk food with us.

    Here are few suggestions that might help.

    1. Try to convince your husband to join the healthy life style bandwagon and decide one day in a week where you guys can indulge guilt free.

    2. Think of some healthy alternatives. For example, whenever me and my husband goes out for shopping we get really hungry. We used to eat whatever in sight because of hunger, now we make sure to eat at Subway, if its not our indulgence day.

    3. Introduce some healthy snacks to your hubby. Like for our tea routine, instead of having biscuits or any fried stuff, we opt for veggie bhel or roasted bhel.

    4. Reduce the portion size. Long back my husband used to get 4 Samosas, 2 for each. Now, if he ever feels like eating Samosas, he gets only 2. This makes a huge difference as one samosa is anywhere around 350 -400 calories. So try getting a smaller portions.

    Eating food together is like a celebration, where two people sit and talk and admire the gorgeous delicious food. Its gives a special sense of bonding which is very difficult to describe in words. The best way is to find the middle ground, so that you get to enjoy the goodies and don't have to bother about the weight.

    Loved all the points, especially 1 and 4--have an indulgence day, but dont over indulge !
    To share a secret with you --already started not indulging at all :2thumbsup: Hope i can continue without getting caught ! lol
