    It is a very excellent work of yours to give Bhagavad Gita in a jist.

    I really want to read Bhagavat Gita and want to buy in Tamil. Will you please suggest which one / whose writing is interesting and easily understandable?

    I hope this really helps beginners like me, hence went ahead and started this thread!! :)

    Sure, you can try out the pocket size Bhagavad Gita book which costs ten bugs only... I guess it should be available in any book shop in chennai... I will keep you posted if I get some info where it is available!!

    Good chapterwise posting of the gist of the Gita.
    In my present understanding the message of Sri Krishna is

    Blissful + Detached + Activity
    Blissful coz that is the true nature of Atman. (Chapter 2͵ 6 etc).
    Detachment coz all worldly things are evanescent (Chapters 2 - 12)
    Activity - One has to do his duty in the world - as the highest offering to the Lord.
