idli rava - cream of rice

I found a idly recipe that uses "idli rava - cream of rice". Please advise if this is same as rice flour as we only get rice flour the in stores where I live.

Expired paneer.... Has anyone used?

Hi ladies,
I just bought some shakthi paneer a few days back. The manufacturing date on the packet was 1 sep 2015. The packet has mentioned as ' best to use within 15 days from the date of manufacturing'

I put it in the freezer compartment of the fridge and cudnt find time to cook it as I was planning to cook in two days but suddenly I had to travel outstation for a few days. Now that i have returned, i have found out that it has expired.
Am actually afraid to use it now. The date today is 26th sep . All thr while till today it has been in the freezer from the day I bought.

Has anyone used expired paneer in cooking? What would you advice ? Use it or discard it ? I have not opened the packet yet and it is back in the freezer.

Do not use it. Milk products have a little shelf life. A day or more than the prescribed date is o.k but not so many days...even if it is unopened and is in freezer.
