Announcing pregnancy in family

    Hello ladies ! How are you all doing.
    I'm trying to figure who should be the first person I'm gonna announce my pregnancy to (of course my husband knows!).. I remember something I've heard ( don't remember how) that a girl should not inform her mother first, it should be her mother in law.

    Is this true? Any one heard or know such a thing ?

    then your mom would be the second person to know about your pregnancy.so no worries.you can share with your mom.

    i told DH first and the next to know my pregnancy is my mom.

    Hearty congratulations dear.. it's nothing like that first I said to my mom only. However your mom is second person to say right. if you have such doubt say to your beloved siblings or whomever you like most.
