    A very beautiful and 'real-speak' poem. Reading this poem made me feel that age is a factor for the body but not the spirit. Even at this age you could come out with your thoughts and present them in the form of a verse. It is a reminder for all out there who crib about getting old that if you are young in the mind, age is not at all a factor.

    @Pushpa Mami very well said , I did not know that you are very goodin writing poems too. Congrats for being nominated, a worthy nomination by our great poet RGS. I am also in seventies and can very well agree to your feelings. If we go on thinking of ourage then we cant enjoy life, life is to enjoy in any age thats what I feel and feel always young at heart and try to enjoy life in whatever situation

    Dear malathi,
    Well said. Age is not a factor for the spirit. When people say I am young at heart I feel it sounds odd. Heart is also a part of the body which has its wear and tears.

    Spirit or the soul which is eternal and could not be destroyed has got the ability to stand apart from the body and enjoy the eternal bliss. But it is difficult to get that state of mind. We require HIS Grace to get that mindset and let us keep praying.
