Well, anytime people choose to comment on my "wasteful" spending habits, and how that money could have been used for a noble cause, I typically turn around to sweetly ask when they ate out last/ bought a yet another new dress/ silk saree/ went to the hairdressers/ out for a pint with buddies/ chose to turn the heater on instead of wearing a sweater yada-yada. They usually get the point after that.

 

People who never had a pet can never understand the bonding of pet and owner....hence the comment....but whts the need of posting the cost on fb or whtsapp...o

 

Exactly. Do we mention the medical expenses of our kids ? That too in whatsapp. Do we even mention if our kid falls sick ?
Now.. let me confess.. that I am not a pet lover . But I am not against them getting treated by their owners. I have seen many pet owners disown their pets when the pets fall sick or become old. They are sent to some 'Pet Caretakers' . And these pets long for their owners to visit them until they breath their last. I saw a documentary about it some years back in the TV. Unable to recall the documentary name. It was very touching.
