    Hi Mangai,
I bought a spice rack, very very handy. I just fill up those containers as and when needed.
I'm also a Nutella addict and I go through those jars quite soon and I use those plastic jars as well. And basically any plastic container that can be reused, finds a place. You can try using the "Simply Orange" juice containers for storing dals as well.
    Hope this helps

If using plastic containers for storage purposes, pls. beware of the triangular sign in the bottom of the container. I got this e.mail couple of months ago and got rid of lot of plastics at home. Here is the instruction to pick plastic container.

    What to avoid:
Check on the bottom of the container there is a triangle sign and there will be a number on it.

If the number is higher than or equal to 5 --> then this container is safe to use.
Whatever number under 5, will release the chemical. For most bottle water, the number is 1. Did you know chemical released by plastic containers can cause cancer
(It is not the water that affecting you but the chemical releasing from the container) Pass this to all your friends and also make them aware of it

Hope it is useful, never reuse any disposible container/bottles. Prevention is better than cure!

    Rithi
