NRI ladies where do you keep your jewelry

Hi Friends,

Ladies who are living out side of India, where do you guys keep your jewelry while returning from India ?

Please advice, so I can follow some.

My brothers wedding coming up and I want to buy some heavy jewelry but htinking about where ot keep them !!!

there are lockers in all banks ($30 for whole year). if u r banking with any particular bank they give u free.

same here we took a locker here and i keep all heavy jewellery in that and light weight n everyday jewellery with me

Same here! When I got married, my mom gifted me a locker subscription to keep all my jewels. This allows me to keep the jewels away from both mom and MIL's place. I don't carry any jewels apart from what I wearing abroad.

If you have smaller pieces you can also buy a safe for your home. You can drill through a couple portals on the bottom and bolt it to the floor. Helpful if you have maids, care workers, babysitters, etc that come into the home. Big stuff put in the bank locker as above.
