Buddies Required!!! Lose a kg for a month- Aug 2014!

    Aug 25 (Monday)

    Breakfast - 1 slice plain wheat bread, 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar), home made fruit smoothie (included banana, apple, strawberry, blueberries & water)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, home made yogurt, vegetable and 1 boiled egg white
    Snack - 1 cucumber, 1 corn
    Dinner - 3 small roti with curry and 1 lindor
    yumsmiley (I like only lindor and diary milk with nuts)
    1 multivitamin

    Workout :


    • Climbing stairs (at home)
    • Treadmill - Distance: 3.46 miles, Calories burnt - 372, Time: 60 mins, LAPs - 13

    Aug 26 (Tuesday)
    Wt - 149.6 lbs (lowest)

    Breakfast
    - 1 slice plain wheat bread (store bought), 1 cup bournvita (1/4 tsp brown sugar), home made fruit smoothie (included banana, apple, strawberry, blueberries & water)
    Lunch - roti, brown rice, curry, home made yogurt, vegetable and 1 boiled egg white
    Snack - 1 cucumber, 1 corn
    Dinner - 3 small roti with peas curry
    1 multivitamin

    Workout :


    • Climbing stairs (at home)
    • Treadmill - Distance: 2.82 miles, Calories burnt - 290, Time: 45 mins
    • Arm workout with and without weights (used 3 lbs) - arm circles, lateral lifts, bicep curls, triceps overhead extension

    Overall, both were great days with respect to food diet and workouts[​IMG] except 1 lindor chocolate :shhh: (anyway, I've already hided my son's lindor packet away from my eye sight .. enna ellam panna vendiyatha eruku ponga weight ah kuraika.. uff (what all we have to do to reduce wt)

    PS: Ladies, I'm planning to buddy up with anyone who are interested to join with me to reach your wt goal. I was contacted my Laks (Moderator) who mentioned about the buddy -up contest. It is about mentor-buddy concept.. Let's have fun !!!!

    I can feel you.. The most toughest part is controlling junk even after seeing that yumsmiley.. Yesterday, I saw my son's big lindor chocolate packet as soon as I opened my refrigerator and I couldn't control me so gulped one lol

    Anitha congratulations!!! Sri your diet and exercise seems to be going well as well. Good luck for the last phase weigh in.

    So I lost more than expected last week. So pretty happy with myself :)

    My goal for the rest of the week is not to weigh myself. Seriously I have been on the scale every hour. Need to stop! Will only weigh on Sunday and it will be bang before my period so I am worried if the results will be discouraging :drowning I will really lose my cool if the number on the scale is bad because I have been working so hard.

    Anyway, goal till 31st is:

    Maintain calorie deficit
    Log food routinely to ensure adequate intake of nutrients
    Exercise
    Stay positive

    26th august
    calorie deficit 500
    jog/walk 4+ miles (running 20 minutes at 7.0)

    Bagel,cream cheese,bournvita
    cucumber
    brown rice,soy chunk gravy,cabbage curry,yogurt
    tea
    1 multigrain dosa,zuchini cooked, soy chunks

    exercise:
    mor- 15 mins floor workout
    breathing routines
    afternoon-0.6 mile walk
    night- 30 mins floor workout before bed time.
    20 mins meditation.
