Hi I moved from India with my 9 months old baby. I found in few forums till 1 year I should not use whole milk for my baby. What I can use enfamil or enfagrow or similac, i m confused on this. Need a suggestion from you ladies. I have doc appointment by end of this month, before that need help. -Div
Divsiv, my baby was on Enfamil and I had no problems with it. Yes, it is recommended to wait for a year before introducing the whole milk. Since baby is just 2 months away from 1 year, perhaps its OK to start giving whole milk. Check with the doctor and see what he says.
Thanks Rakhii. Can you tell me the exact name because there is lot of varieties in enfamil and i am not sure what to select one for me. -Div
Try Enfamil Gentlease. I'm giving it to my baby. It is supposed to be gentle on tummies, help with gassiness, etc. Don't know how true is that but my pediatrician swears by it. By the way, in India, as far as I know they start cow's milk (or is it buffalo's?) for the newborn herself. At least SIL's DD used to have milk from milkman when she was not even 5 days old. Anyone have any idea about this?
