what home remedies do you follow????

    Turmeric or haldi


    Haldi is used extensively in Indian cooking but can also be used in different ways – as face and body packs etc.

    Apply turmeric powder mixed with coconut oil on cracked heels before taking a shower for healing cracks.

    Also, can be used on burns for quick relief due to its antiseptic properties.

    Mix some aloevera gel in it for better relief.

    Use this with besan / Gram flour, milk, and lemon juice as face pack for glowing and healthy skin. If you have oily skin, mix it with curd.

    for insect bites:
    Crush a few tulsi leaves and salt together and apply frequently
    for irritation due to hairy caterpillar:
    Apply curd as soon as the irritation starts and keep applying frequently
    For cold and mild fever in infants and toddlers,
    Pluck a leaf of thick leafed thyme(Plectranthus amboinicus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), place it on a tawa to lightly warm it and slightly press it over the infant's head
    for tooth ache
    tightly bite on to a clove and keep it between the affected teeth
    for stomach ache
    make a ginger-lime juice adding a lot of crushed ginger and honey to lime juice
    or
    have a spoon of crushed garlic
    for sore throat/ mouth ulcers:
    gargle with a solution of salt added to luke warm water

    for acidity
    regular use of jeera water (a teaspoonful of jeera boiled in water) regularly with meals helps
    having a couple of cups of warm water on empty stomach would help with acidity

    to improve immunity
    kashayam of gooseberry with jaggery. Also, add a kilo of gooseberry and jaggery to a glass/ ceramic jar, cover the lid tightly and keep unmoved in a dark corner for a year. It makes a liquid that can be used in the next year. One teaspoon of this daily improves the immunity of kids manifold.

    Constipation:
    Add 8-10 whole seeded raisins to half a cup of warm water and place it overnight. The next morning, crush the raisins in the same water, remove seeds and drink it on an empty stomach.
