hi everybody, I wanted to take a course in personality development. and grooming. Can you please tell me what they teach there and is it worth trying?
Depends of the place you do the course. Generally they teach communication, soft skills and all. Before joining that you can also try toastmasters club its cheaper than these classes.

do u like Jack welch books...Read Winning..you can even watch his videos in youtube. Randy pausch 1 hr video to start with... I read his book,Last lecturer in single stretch.. Unable to come out of that reading for one week....
Rather than spending time and money on courses and books, try to get real life experience. Expose yourself to as many varied environments as possible, as your time, money and access permits. Open your mind, try everything from religious places to libraries to not-for-profits, hospitals, educational institutions etc. Meet as many different people as you can from different walks of life and mingle with them. If there are any free motivational lectures being held, simply attend them. Attend any spiritual lectures, volunteer in not-for-profits, schools, colleges, clinics, etc. where you see real people real problems real struggles. I think this will help in the long run more than any personality development crash course.
