i got the maternity belt from the hospital itself.. my mom had brought one from india.. but i didnt need that..
what i used to do is, have a soft cotton saree inside the belt, coz i was always scared if the Velcro would pull on the stitches/staples from c-section..
it really helped.. used to remove while lying down

 

Hi SM,

Even for c section does the hospital give the belt? I was told(told by one friend who underwent c section in the same hospital) that for c section my hospital doesnt give belt. can i ask my doctor about it?

I don't know. The doctor said, it's in the genes. I was a small baby and I think my husband was a big baby. He calls the baby "chuttu bujju". console1

I'm craving for sweets. May be that's showing the impact. :-(

Lindt chocolates did the magic..
I was told by someone that having choclates makes one get a happy baby..
Initially i hated chocos n sweets during pregnancy.. but now i moved to sweets badly and wish to have atleast one different sweet each day....

I am also expecting a big baby coz my hubby and i were both chubby at birthgigglingsmiley

Talking about the big babies, in my 1 st ( and mostly the last, unless i have any complications) he doc told my baby is bit longer/bigger than normal, and GA shows 3 days prior. My Husband was 10 pounds when he was born, now he is very lean but 6'2".

My question is from which week do we actually start showing up, I dont show much at all, I still wear my pre preg tops

 

Cool Divya.. u can still wear pre-preg tops.. For me its like i cant wear previous month's newly brought clothes.

I think the showing up is totally unpredictable and varies from one person to other...
Some people say for those having boys it starts showing from 6th month onwards, i am not sure....for me, i am showing from 4th month only....

By the way, we most probably will visit Houston by end of December. We'll see.
