I had my IVF in Jan,it was fully painless and very exciting.It was exciting because i saw my babies as soon as one week old.Everything will be fine.Travel only when your Doc allows you.

 

IVF -- How many days to stay in hyd for 1 cycle.

Hi Friends,
I am planning on taking IVF/ICSI treatment from Dr. Anuradha from Anu Test Tube baby center, hyderabad. I am not from hyd, so I would like to know how many days we may have to stay in hyd for the IVF process. Also what all tests we need to go through before the actual cycle and for that how many days I may have to stay at hyd.

Also any good places to stay in hyd while going through the treatment.

I suggest you to post this question in the Hyderabad subforum ...am sure you will be getting many responses.If you dont mind i have a question :hiya i was wondering why you want to go all the way to Hyderabad for getting an IVF done . Did you try for it already in the USA from a Reproductive Endocrinologist/Fertility Specialist.

Thanks for your suggestion.

No I never tried IVF here in US. Our insurance does not cover infertility treatments and it is very expensive if we want to pay from our pockets. So we decided to try it in hyderabad. It will work out way cheaper if we try in India including the flight tickets and stay.

I wanted info about how to contact Dr.Sarat from here regarding IVF treatment.
Does anybody have his email ? I would like to contact him before I go to Chennai for treatment, as my hubby can get only 3 weeks off. Any info regarding Dr.Sarat would be appreciated.

Thanks for your wishes. The cycle went well.........now i have to wait for 2 weeks to know whether i am pregnant..............lets see what god has decided for me. Hope it will be positive.

 

IVF doubt

Hello friends,

I am going to undergo IVF treatment this coming month and I would like to know how many embryos to transfer.
If anyone had IVF before, how many embryos did you transfer. I am 29 years old and also using ICSI.

My husband and doctors say one embryo as twin pregnancy will cause risk for the baby's health. I am just confused.

Please help.
