i saw old telugu movie ADAVALLU ALIGITHE dont know the actors names but a very nice story showing very good nice joint family, and how the family cant run peacefully without ladies co-operation..must see who like to see telugu old movies..

English: An Autumn in London (2013), Malayalam - very good
cast: Jayasurya, Mukesh, Nivin Pauly, Nathyia

Lives of 4-families were shown in UK, the problem they faced and how they dealt with it.

Nathyia, a doctor's wife with 2-teenage kids wanted to go back to homeland. A typical
house wife puts lot of trust on her husband and found that her husband's was having an
affair with a gay.

Mukesh, a grocery store owner who was attached to his mother and how he handled
ailing mother's near death.

Nivin Pauly was having a crush on his newly wed friend's wife.

Jayasurya, Kathakali artist and an illegal immigrant, working as a waiter to have his ends meet.

All these characters are some how inter-connected with one another.

Felt heavy hearted after watching the movie, may be as a NRI, I felt that the movie was closer to the truth.

Akam (2013) Malayalam - psychotic thriller
cast: Fahadh Faasil, Anumol

The story is about physically/emotionally scared man suspecting his beautiful
wife as Yakshi (mohini/Vampire). An architect, Fahadh met with an accident
and it disfigured him. His girl friend left him because of that. He married
to Rohini and starts to suspect her intentions of marrying him. Along with Fahadh,
the viewer also start to feel, she may not be a human. That was the director's
touch.

Madras cafe, Hindi -Political thriller
Cast: John Abraham, Nargis Fakhri

Movie is banned in TN. This movie is about Sri Lankan civil war and a conspiracy theory of former prime minster's assassination. I guess, the director tried to mimic American president's assassination plots such as JFK, Abe Lincoln.

An Indian army special officer was sent to Sri Lanka on an operation shortly after the Indian army was forced to withdraw. He meets a British journalist, who wants to tell the truth about the civil war. The army officer found that there was a corruption involved all the way and a plot to kill former prime minster was planned because ex-PM was a hindrance to their political agenda. The Indian army officer was a spectator to watch the events unfold.

This movie is a conspiracy theory mixed with real events. The rebel group was named LTF, their leader was 'Anna'. It is not a complete documentary, and the fictional aspect of 'action thriller' was missing from the army officer perspective.
